There is nothing more soothing than a good rocking chair!  When one comes my way, I spruce it up and get it ready for its next owner.  My shop is small and therefore my assortment modest, but each one is special and more are coming along.

ATTENTION GRANDPARENTS :  A great gift for any toddler!  I take brand new Shaker style hardwood rockers and make them glow with richly colored stains, seal the wood in urethane and finnish the seats  in various combinations of Shaker tape or splint.  This shimmering red combination on the left is quickly becoming a favorite.

My dream come true.

I thought about creating a blue Kennedy rocker for a long time.  This is an older chair which came from a Vermont estate.  It was in need of everything: scraping, gluing, new finnish, and weaving.  It was a labor of love.  Now it is awesome and waiting for the right person to come along.  If you are looking for comfort and great looks, this is it.
